When you sponsor a Service Dogs of Virginia puppy, you're doing more than giving a gift — you're changing a life. With a donation of $8,500 or more, you’ll help provide a service dog to someone with disabilities at no cost to them.
As a puppy sponsor, you’ll receive:
Naming rights for a SDV puppy (yes, you get to name a future service dog!)
Quarterly updates and photos of your sponsored puppy
Recognition in our annual report
An opportunity to meet the dog and their new handler at the end of training
Naming Sponsorships
IMportant Notes:
While we hope all puppies complete training, not all are guaranteed to graduate as service dogs.
Puppy names are assigned by themed litters, so there may be a short delay before naming.
All names must be approved by SDV to ensure clarity and consistency in training.
