When you sponsor a Service Dogs of Virginia puppy, you're doing more than giving a gift — you're changing a life. With a donation of $8,500 or more, you’ll help provide a service dog to someone with disabilities at no cost to them.

As a puppy sponsor, you’ll receive:

  • Naming rights for a SDV puppy (yes, you get to name a future service dog!)

  • Quarterly updates and photos of your sponsored puppy

  • Recognition in our annual report

  • An opportunity to meet the dog and their new handler at the end of training

Your support creates a life-changing partnership between a person and their service dog.

Naming Sponsorships

IMportant Notes:

  • While we hope all puppies complete training, not all are guaranteed to graduate as service dogs.

  • Puppy names are assigned by themed litters, so there may be a short delay before naming.

  • All names must be approved by SDV to ensure clarity and consistency in training.
