A Night for Art and Community

What happens when local artists, dog lovers, and a great cause collide? You get Art Unleashed — a one-of-a-kind public art display and benefit auction supporting Service Dogs of Virginia (SDV). Talented artists have taken plain fiberglass dog statues and turned them into stunning, conversation-starting works of art. Now it's your turn to take one home. Bid on a painted statue in our live auction, browse unique items in the silent auction, and know that every dollar raised helps SDV build a permanent campus — and train more life-changing service dogs for individuals living with disabilities.

Proceeds support our Building Campaign

Net proceeds from Art Unleashed go directly toward Service Dogs of Virginia's campaign to build a dedicated permanent training facility — giving our dogs, trainers, and the families we serve a forever home in Virginia.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • A portion of your ticket purchase may be tax-deductible. Service Dogs of Virginia is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. You'll receive a receipt via email through our Bloomerang portal.

  • Bid sheets will be placed beside each auction item throughout the event. The highest bid at the end of the evening wins. Some items may also include a "buy now" price.

  • Tickets are non-refundable but transferable. If you can't attend, you may transfer your ticket to another guest. Contact us at least 48 hours before the event.

  • The CODE Building is fully wheelchair accessible with accessible parking and restrooms. Contact us in advance if you have specific accessibility needs.You can reach us anytime via our contact page or email. We aim to respond quickly—usually within one business day.

  • Yes — the dog statues are part of the silent auction and available to bid on. If you'd like a specific statue, arrive early and place your bid!
