From Scent to Source
Location: Crozet Library
Celebrating the amazing sniffing abilities of a dog! When a dog detects scent, they can determine the exact source of the odor. This includes dogs engaged in the sport of K9 Nose Work and the ability of a Service Dog to detect and alert to high and low blood sugar.
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Susan Edginton has always had a passion for creating an emotional connection through her work. Inspired by her love of animals and their unique character, she is driven to capture the unmistakable bond between people and their pets—their presence, personality, and that special expression found in their eyes.
She works across a variety of media, including watercolor, pen and ink, graphite, colored pencil, and photography. Each piece is created with the intention of leaving a part of herself within the work, bringing depth, warmth, and emotion to every subject she portrays.
Susan holds a B.A. in Fine Art with a Commercial Art minor, studied at the Art Institute of Houston, and earned an A.A. in Photography from NOVA. She also accepts commissioned work.
