Jane Feild

I attended Virginia Commonwealth University and received a BFA in painting and printmaking. While experimenting with glitter and metallic powders in paint, my paintings started to resemble mosaics. I then started working with glass and mirror as mediums.

I “paint” with the colors and textures of the glass, creating patterns and movement. Reflections from iridescent glass and textured mirror shimmer. The pieces become chameleons, ever changing with light and viewpoint.
