Thank you for your interest in the fundraising project for Service Dogs of Virginia (SDV). We think this is a delightful way to partner with our community and friends in order to raise the necessary funds needed to place more dogs with more people in Virginia.
We are not a black-tie kind of place. We are dog lovers who are dedicated to helping people with disabilities live more independently. We do believe in the power of these dogs to change lives for the better. We are delighted to have you partner with us to help our fellow Virginians receive a highly trained dog who will improve their lives for years to come. At present, we are endeavoring to build a new training center so that we can double the number of dogs we place annually from 10 dogs to 20 or more.

publicity and name recogniztion for you
Your name, company logo, brief bio, and a link to your website will be featured on our website (anonymous sponsorships are also available). Each Labrador statue will have a plaque attached at the base with the name of the sponsor in addition to a QR code that will direct individuals to your bio on our website. In addition you will receive:
Name recognition on a map showing the location of all statues
Name and a brief bio in the auction brochure with a photo of the finished piece
Recognition in various print advertisements and social media
3-4 months of public display either in front of the your business or another agreed upon location driving traffic to your location.

Sponsorships are tax-deductible donations- SDV is a 501(c)(3) corporation.

Be part of an amazing cause
All profits from the auction go towards helping Service Dogs of Virginia create a new space. By supporting the auction you will be helping us to succeed in our mission to significantly increase the number of serviced dogs we can provide to people in need. Some things to know about us:
Begun in 2000, we have been placing dogs with people with disabilities for 25 years. We have grown from 1 program training dogs to help a person in a wheelchair to 5 programs that span a range of needs including autism for children and young adults, PTSD dogs for miliary and first responders, facility dogs for professional counselors, and more.
We are accredited as a service dog school by Assistance Dogs International (www.assistancedogsinternational.org)
We are the only school in Virginia training medical alert dogs
It costs approximately $40,000 to raise and train one dog, but we do not charge clients for their dog

SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION
Submit your completed application along with up to two design mockups to our selection committee for review.

RECIEVE FEEDBACK
Your application will be carefully reviewed by our selection committee who will select the 20 artists. All application feedback will be sent out no later than [insert date].

RECEIVE SPONSORSHIP
If you are selected as an artist, we will then work to match you with a sponsor for your work. If you are successfully matched with a sponsor we will arrange to have your statue delivered to you.
