Changing Lives ... One Dog at a Time

It costs nearly $20,000 to raise and train a service dog each year. Beyond our nominal application fee of $25 and a $500 placement fee, Service Dogs of Virginia places dogs at no additional cost to the individual, as many are struggling with ongoing medical and therapy bills.

How You Can Help…

Through the generous support of caring individuals, local businesses and foundations, Service Dogs of Virginia is able to provide services dogs free of charge to those in need.

A gift of …

  • $25 can provide a collar, leash and food dishes for a puppy
  • $50 can help feed a service dog in training for two months
  • $100 will help create a specially fitted vest and tether system for an Autism service dog
  • $250 will cover vaccinations and vet exams for a puppy from birth to 4 months

Every donation, no matter how small, adds up to make a significant impact on a person’s life.

Please consider making a gift today to help us raise, train and place even more exceptional service dogs.
